Macintosh now a Rotten Apple? Why are loyal mac users feeling ripped off and sold out? (mac/APPLE users register with class action lawsuit against APPLE)

I want to start by saying all the below in reference to my dealings with APPLE and its OUTLETS has been video recorded and will be edited into a documentary I plan to make about APPLE.  To start with I have been an unwavering loyal Mac user for 10 years in this time I have purchased 7 Macintosh computers and 6 extended warranties personally and another 3 mac systems for our staff along with all the peripherals like time hubs mouse and cables. With all these extended warranties we had 3 problems 2 we believed obviously factory defects and mac not only would not honor them they were rude, hostile and accusatory as if somehow we were running some kind of scam. I just left the note book at the Mac Store at Metrotown stating I was going to pursue legal action AS I AM and also asking all others that believe they have documented evidence that Mac has wronged them by not honoring their warranty/s.  CLICK HERE >> SIGN UP NOW TO CLASS ACTION SUIT AGAINST APPLE

I was very happy to pick up the new Macbook Pro Retina even at almost $5000 canadian with the peripherals, as now a days mac does not even provide a mouse and cables. When I got the laptop home I was very pleased with the speed but for almost 6 months there were major issues widely documented on the web such as monitor connection problems, lag time with type, jumpy mouse but the biggest complaint of all was cheap inferior manufacturing and materials.

I remember calling the Mac Station store in Burnaby to complain about the issues with my mac I also made note of the two lit up pixeles at the corner of my monitor by the power jack. I remember saying I dont think its anything worth waiting another month for a replacement Corey said OK and that was the end of that. My next call was just a couple weeks ago to say the two pixels were growing and I believed it was a crack. RIGHT AWAY Paul the technician said “oh Mac does not cover monitors with their warranty”. In my search to find more answers I discovered literally thousands of complaints about mac not honoring warranty for other obvious factory defects. He Paul suggested there was nothing more they could do. I asked for their head office number and company name GLENTEL as confirmed owns all 3 of the Mac Station stores with owner Thomas E. Skidmore.

AGAIN I have had 3 warranty issues they were in 2 cases factory defects most would assume easily covered by warranty, well they would be WRONG. The first issue was with my macbook its drive was corrupted and Macs disc Utility was unable to verify the drive nore repair but the notebooks was still working and an essential part of our business. The store manager (future shop) said they would honor the warranty but as I explained we needed to have a replacement before we could bring it in he said OK just bring it in then. Bringing my macbook into the Metrotown Mac store was great nice and friendly. UNTIL I insisted this should still be covered but after some time I just surrendered to the idea I was going to pay as cheated as I felt.  SO they said it would be about an hour or 2 to confirm the problem, I bought a new mouse left my mac book they confirmed an hour later it was JUST THE DRIVE CABLE. It was a few weeks later I had not heard back from them that I called to find they had not fixed it yet I was short but not really rude just expressed some concern anxiously that it was supposed to be a couple days. A month goes by I call again this time they are hostile and so am I, I say “ its been over 1 month why is this not done? apparently as they said ” oh we needed permission as its not the cable its the drive" so when it was another 2 weeks with no call back I was really upset this time they said “ well sir its the motherboard the power supply, the case, the keyboard, the drive and the cable and it will cost 1200 or more….

Maybe the above graph better explains Apples dealings with it old base the computer market just does not have the same influence as it once did and Apple seems only to be motivated by profits.

… Final straw I call Mac Canada they too very nice on the initial conversation but on their return from calling Metrotown Store they were hostile and accusatory language. I swear its like mac has a secret file on me it really felt like hot and cold, night and day the way they were so bipolar in dealing with me. In my searches I found its not just me its almost anyone with a relatively costly factory defect or replacement. As apparently Mac made its computers impossible to upgrade and replace defective parts by  GET THIS GLUING EVERYTHING IN PLACE, yep apparently they want you to throw out your computer when you want more ram or the battery dies so they thought they could make more money gluing everything in so if you try to remove or replace parts you will break the computer.  HARD TO BELIEVE RIGHT?…

…here is just the first source found in a google search.
"I think Apple’s decided they’re making appliances, and they see [the Retina MacBook Pro] as something they’re making that’s glued together, and you buy it and use it and, if it breaks, you replace it,” Wiens suggested. “Their plan might be to have you replace it every year or so.”

OK so its not just me there are literally thousands of loyal Mac users, magazines, techies and consumers picking up on their greed. and its not hard to find many stories to further back up this claim…  below is a story quote source

Apple’s factories in China are breaking employment laws, audit finds. “Foxconn pledges more staff and living wage after public investigation reveals long hours, low pay and safety failings”

Apple customers wanting fair treatment are starting to learn its not about the products anymore its about the profits and they know the loyalty is wavering with old mac fans but with iphone sales it seems APPLE is just not all that concerned and saving a few dollars with million of customers certainly adds up.

As more and more Mac users are being ripped off and alienated there is a wave of alternative options growing. Now I am not saying this is something I will do just that many are doing it and because it is illegal I would never condone it I am only reporting on it as I believe it is a byproduct of APPLES abuse with its once loyal customer base ands I predict something will come up out of APPLES oversight and they will in the end lose much more than their credibility they will lose what seemingly matters most MONEY. Here is a link to the source of the below quote about the hackintosh …

Build a Cheaper, Customizable Alternative to Apple’s Mac Pro.
“Apple’s Mac Pro, the sleek and shiny trash can from outer space, is certainly a feat of engineering. It also costs $3,000. If you want to build a comparable machine yourself, you can save a lot of money by going with a Hackintosh.”

I would also add APPLE most certainly does not make it easy to get the information you need to sue them either. I imagine with so many complaints they are trying to make it as hard as they can. I spent almost 1 hour on the phone just to get the below legal names and addresses confirmed.

APPLE CANADA 7495 BIRCHMOUNT MARKHAM ONTARIO L3R 5G2

APPLE INCORPORATED 1 Infinite LoopCupertinoCA, 95014

In the end I wish I was not put in this spot I wish I could count on APPLE to honor their product, their warranties and their customers, BUT I CAN NOT so as i am looking for a new computer next time I am afraid it will sadly not be one from APPLE.
